Book Review “The Reappearance of Rachel Price”
The Reappearance of Rachel Price is a book written by one of the best selling author “Holly Jackson”. It was published in April 2, 2024 and was one of the most anticipated book of the year.
It is a young adult thriller, mystery novel which follows the story of a young girl named Bel Price, whose mother disappeared years ago without any answers. The disappearance of her mother became the most famous unsolved case in their town and one day a production crew came to her family to film a documentary based on the case. However, once the filming started, her mother suddenly came back alive! Is it just a coincidence or is her mother hiding something? What really happened when she disappeared? It is a book which will keep you on edge and makes you keep questioning for answers.
It was one of my favourite reads in 2024 and the author made a excellent job in writing the story with well grounded plot and likable characters. The plot twist was also well-written and I could not guess what was going to happen next. However, I felt like the ending was a bit rushed and ended abruptly when it had more potential to explain the story further. Overall, it was a solid 4 book which got me out of my book slump.
