BTS’s Suga Suspected Of Lying About Location In DUI Scandal

On August 7, media reported that BTS’s Suga was under police investigation for riding an electric scooter after drinking alcohol.

According to police, Suga was found alone on the street on the night of August 6, riding an electric scooter after drinking alcohol. Police officers patrolling nearby rescued the man and took him to a nearby police station.

“Hello, this is Suga. I am very sorry to have to contact you about such an unfortunate matter. Last night, after drinking alcohol at dinner, I rode my electric scooter home. I didn’t think it was that far, but I didn’t know you can’t ride an electric scooter after drinking alcohol.

By doing this, I violated the traffic rules. I parked my car in front of the main gate of my house and it fell over. The police were nearby, and based on the results of a breathalyzer test, my driver’s license was revoked and I had to pay a fine. There was no personal or property damage, but I am responsible for this and I bow my head in apology to everyone. I would like to apologize to those who were hurt by my irresponsible and wrong actions, and I will be more careful in my actions in the future to prevent such things from happening again.”

However, netizens noticed a difference between his apology and the police statement.

In his apology, he emphasized that he was riding a scooter and fell in front of his house before being found by police. Recently, police clarified that he was not riding a scooter but an electric scooter with a seat.

In South Korea, electric scooters are subject to the same regulations as cars and cannot be rented without a valid driver’s license for safety reasons.

Although fans are arguing about the statements made in his apology, all this is still netizen speculation as it is difficult to confirm where Suga lives currently.

Korean netizens criticized his apology statement and felt that it was filled with nothing but excuses.
