Jennifer Lopez Hints at Her Divorce with an ‘Unbothered’ Instagram Post

On Instagram, the star shared quotes that seemed to convey her feelings about her divorce from Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez has given us a glimpse into her jam-packed summer so far, which has included a lavish Bridgerton-themed birthday party and plenty of stylish moments in Birkin boots.

On Saturday, the star took to Instagram to share details from her time in the Hamptons, including quotes and graphics that seemed to express her feelings about her recent divorce from Ben Affleck. Lopez officially filed for divorce on Aug. 20 (her and Affleck’s second wedding anniversary), but has kept a low profile until now. In court documents obtained by People magazine, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The first quote in the singer’s photo summary reads, “All things unfold in God’s order,” possibly hinting that Lopez has reconciled with her divorce. Other clues include Lopez wearing a sweatshirt that reads, “Blessed Mama,” as well as a T-shirt that reads, “She’s in full bloom and at ease/Out of reach and at peace.” Talking about Lopez’s current mindset, which her post says is about putting herself first.

Her photo stack is peppered with a few selfies, ranging from mirror shots to snaps of Lopez eating ice cream. Some of the photos also show the singer’s child, Emme, playing with a tiny orange kitten that appears to be her new pet. And in true J.Lo style, there are also some glamorous snaps, including one where the Atlas actress wears burgundy Gucci accessories and a sheer white mini dress.

In another luxurious photo, she shows off a beautiful bathtub filled with bubbles. Her bathroom is also seen in another mirror selfie, but this one shows Lopez’s tanned skin and sassy white swimsuit. The rest of the photos capture their summer happiness with pictures of friends, a dog dressed in a Bridgerton costume, a field full of daisies, and more.

Lopez looks really carefree, and her caption emphasizes that even more. “Ahhhh it was summer,” she wrote next to the dump of the photo.
